Sample Submission Instruction Guidelines
ENSURING YOUR BEST RESULTS WITH PROPER SAMPLE HANDLING INFORMATION
Sample submission instruction guidelines are crucial in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of your research and testing operations. Specifically, if you follow submission instructions, you are guaranteeing the uniform handling of samples, by minimizing environmental influences and preventing errors. In essence, make sure to follow these guidelines to help you maintain the integrity of your samples.
With this in mind, at SeqMatic the sample submission instruction guidelines are vital for ensuring the reliability, consistency, and safety of our laboratory analyses. And therefore, they actively playing an important role in the overall quality management of your sample processing throughout our laboratory operations.
Above all, follow these three simple steps:
Submitting A Purchase Order
First, submitting the purchase order PRIOR to sample submission is key!
Samples will only be accepted after the order has been approved.
Submitting A Sample Submission Form ( DIGITAL VERSION )
Second, sending your Sample Submission Form to this address, is important!:
samples@seqmatic.com
Submitting A Sample Submission Form ( PRINTED COPY )
Third, printing and attaching a copy of the form to your shipment is critical for avoiding delays with sample processing.
NOTE: As a rule, the Submission Guideline Instructions are frequently updated. Important: These instructions were last updated in February 2024
Select a service form and follow the instructions provided to ensure the quality and accuracy of your sample results. Adhering to established guidelines streamline the workflow in the laboratory, making the process more efficient and reducing turnaround time for results.

Avoid Errors – Follow These Guidelines
- Digital Forms are XLS format files and contain several worksheet tabs
- Make sure to select to correct worksheet tab to fill and submit your project details

Packaging Recommendations
Follow these recommendations! They will help you to ensure quality and to prevent common errors such as contamination, degradation, or incorrect labeling of samples:
- Sample should be stored in 1.5mL tubes or on a 96 well plate. Shipping samples in PCR tube strips are not recommended.
- We accept Eppendorf tubes or screw caps.
- Tubes should be wrapped in parafilm to prevent caps from opening during transit.
- PCR plate seals must be rated for -80C or below. Plates seals are not rated for low temperatures and should be avoided.
- Protect samples by storing tubes in an appropriate tube box or storage rack. Do not place tubes loosely inside the shipping container.
- Do NOT use water ice
